There’s something special about the quaint town of Perranporth; perhaps it’s the calming seas, the miles and miles of sandy beaches, or the welcoming folks that call the majestically town home.

For most that visit the beaches of Perranporth; they will find an abundance of relaxation and sunbathing awaiting them. The beaches sit below a mountain of rocky cliffs on the south end and adjacent to sand dunes on the northern end.

Legend has it that the town was stumbled upon by St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall. After being cast to sea by the Irish King for allegedly having mystical powers.

St Piran survived very stormy nights at sea and landed on the coast of Perranporth. From there, the patron saint built an oratory.

There are a selection of pubs, restaurants, local shops and a Co-Op, plus there are plenty of places to stay in the village such as bed and breakfast\'s, hotels and a youth hostel.
